Last December, 20th, CritiCC's member Laura Fernández gave a lecture in the Universitat de Barcelona, in the last session of the psycopatholgy course with the teacher Antoni Talarn. 

The lecture was titled "Hacia mundos más animales" ("Towards more animal worlds") and was based on Laura's book with the same title.

In the presentation, Laura talked about Speciesism and how this systemic oppression it is deeply connected with other systems of oppression such as racism, sexism or ableism. The main conclusion was that if all these systems of oppression are overlapped and have common roots (the binary thinking), then we must take this overlapping into account when doing research or taking action towards social, environmental and interspecies justice.
