From the 11th to the 14th of April the PhD students from COLT organised the REST-CL retreat with students from the computational linguistics field. We had tutorials, discussed our respective works, held group sessions on emergent communication, interpretability, multi-modality... And also cooked excellent food (it turns out making real tomato sauce for pasta takes a minimum of 4h, and is entirely worth it), and met really cool people.

We were really lucky to have great mentors joining us, Mora Maldonado and Fausto Carcassi took from their time to answer our questions and helped us get a better grip on what we want to make of our research lives post-PhD, many thanks to them.

Overall, a really fun event, that provided great interactions, and which we plan to repeat next year !
