Carla Castignani, Laura Jiménez, Alda Sabalic and Beatriz Urda, students of the 1st course of our MSc Programme have been awarded with the 1st prize of the UPF 2018-2019 Hacklab Awards for their project “CoLabSTOCK”.

CoLabSTOCK is a web application that allows the digitalization of research laboratories as well as the creation of a collaboration network between several laboratories. Our main aim is to improve everyday researchers’ tasks helping to organize all the material used in a lab (for instance, primers, reagents, strains, antibodies, and digestion enzymes), but also to promote collaborative networks between laboratories to share resources and reduce both costs and waste generation.
