The Erasmus Mundus European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) comprises nine teaching centres within the EU (Aix-Marseille, Barcelona, Bologna, Ghent, Hamburg, Rome, Rotterdam, Vienna and Warsaw) and two worldwide (Haifa and Mumbai). This programme not only provides students with a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge of law and economics, but it also blends academic excellence with a high level of internationality. In addition, the EMLE structure allows students and scholars, to cooperate with lawyers, economists and businesspeople.

Universitat Pompeu Fabra offers a unique track for the students to deepen their knowledge in the Economic Analysis of Innovation and Intellectual Property field. Also, our center offers a modern seaside campus in the centre of Barcelona as well as excellent conditions for studying.

Spanish Association of Law and Economics (AEDE) Spanish Association of Law and Economics (AEDE)

The Spanish Association of Law and Economics (AEDE) is one of the youngest Associations of Law and Economics in Europe. Among other activities, such as seminars and a course on economic analysis of Law at Harvard, AEDE organizes an annual conference, which will take place during your academic activity at our university. This year, due to the uncertainty of the current travel restrictions, the conference will be offered online for those participants not able to be in Barcelona. Connection details will be duly announced to the registered participants. Attending to the present special circumstances, registration will be free for all participants. Registration is required. Certifications, if required, will be only issued in pdf format.

The Conference invites those interested in submitting a paper (in English, Spanish or Portuguese) to submit electronically either a copy of the final paper (with an abstract, 200 words) or an outline of a minimum of 2 pages to [email protected] by May 10, 2021.
