What is the Refugee Fund?  

One of the guiding principles of Pompeu Fabra University is solidarity and its desire to be humanitarianly sensitive, socially responsible in its relations with the multiple cultural, social and economic agents, and respond to the needs of the country and the problems of the world. 

In view of today’s many international conflicts, the university community has turned to help refugees and people in emergency situations. For this reason, Pompeu Fabra University has decided to create the UPF Refugee Fund, a series of funds open to contributions from the entire community to guarantee the right to higher education for victims of international conflicts.

How to submit the application?

You can submit the application form electronically by attaching it to the general electronic application form that you can find in the online office, in the Catalogue of procedures and formalities. 

Before beginning the procedure you are informed of how you can identify yourselves electronically (idCAT Mòbil, idCAT, Cl@ve, T-Cat, DNi-e, etc).

You must complete this general electronic form stipulating:

• in the I REQUEST section: Sol·licitud per acollir-se al Fons Refugi (in Catalan, as written)
• the Body or service to whom you address the application: UPF SOLIDÀRIA (in capital letters, as written).

You can also submit the form and documentation in person at the General Registry of the University. The form must be the original and handwritten and signed by hand (photocopies or electronically signed forms are not accepted for in-person submissions).

And you can also submit it at any of the places provided for in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations.
