The +RAIN Film Festival invites you to be part of a unique experience: working in the organization of the first AI film festival in Europe! Organized by UPF and the UPF Foundation, it is a space where cinema and technology converge. Its sections bring together creators, researchers, professionals and artists who explore new forms of audiovisual creation in the age of AI.

This 2026, the festival will celebrate its new edition on June 15th, 16th and 17th at the UPF Poblenou Campus and the CCCB (Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona).

Why join us

Participating in +RAIN is not only collaborating in a film festival: it is immersing yourself in the avant-garde of experimental cinema and artificial intelligence, in contact with international artists and top professionals of the sector.
