MEDIA+RAIN explores the role of artificial intelligence in journalism in the digital information era, aiming to connect technological disruption with the most urgent social, ethical and professional challenges. Through this session, we advocate for the development of open technologies, rooted in the local context and serving journalism and society. Projects focused on information verification, accessibility and innovation in journalistic practice are presented, alongside an open debate on technological autonomy, information quality and the fight against disinformation, with the aim of reflecting on democratic and inclusion challenges from a journalistic perspective.
