Competitive section of the international AI Film Festival
Screening program featuring a selection of films created with artificial intelligence that explore the aesthetic, narrative, and expressive possibilities of generative technologies. The program includes the screening of eight international and local short films selected from more than 200 submissions received in 2026. An international jury will recognize the most innovative proposals, both globally and among local talent.
In this fourth edition, FEST outlines a panorama of current uses of AI in contemporary cinema through conversations with filmmakers and the presentation of out-of-competition works, such as the project developed as part of the Barcelona Crea 2025 Grant (ICUB – Pompeu Fabra University), which fosters research and artistic creation processes in AI-driven filmmaking.
