Vanesa Daza is a senior lecturer at Pompeu Fabra University. With a background in mathematics (bachelor’s degree and a PhD), her research interests focus on the design of new cryptographic protocols and primitives to address security and privacy challenges in emerging technologies, with special emphasis on blockchain technologies. She has co-authored more than 40 articles and is the joint holder of two international patents, currently in use.
