Jorge Caballero is the co-founder of the production company GusanoFilms Barcelona – Bogotá. He has directed and produced several films and interactive and immersive projects that have been selected and awarded at major festivals around the world such as IDFA, HotDocs, SXSW, Mar del Plata, BAFICI, Guadalajara, DocsBCN, and Malaga, among many others. He has twice won the National Documentary Award in Colombia. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Film and Artificial Intelligence. He is also a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University and BAU. He regularly sits on the selection committee of IDFA Bertha and IDFA Forum.
