Carla Lombardo (Córdoba, Argentina)

Multidisciplinary artist, her research focuses on the body and its interrelation with living systems. Graduated in Industrial Design at FAUD-UNC in Córdoba, she has a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts (Universidad Nacional de las Artes, Buenos Aires). In 2008 she won a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Culture to take a training course in art and scenography in Madrid. In 2011 she was selected for her solo shows "My google maps" and "Urbanitas" at Casa Elizalde (Barcelona, Spain). In 2016 she participated in the group show at MASP, São Paulo, with her work "Gentrificada". In 2018 she received the award for the creation of the work "A União do Povo" and her solo exhibition at the Centro Cultural São Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil). In 2019 she participates in the homage to Jonas Mekas at MAM-Rio de Janeiro, with the collective performance "Linguametragem", in the same year the book "Diarias" is published with a Spanish translation of her authorship. In 2021 she developed the artistic research "Coreopolíticas de la tierra", which had repercussions in the field of activism and countercartography, as well as participating in the collective exhibition Festival de C4nn3s, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. His latest video work "Volver a casa. Mata del Zumbi" has been exhibited at online festivals and published online in ClimaCom Magazine, São Paulo.
