Sylvia Rothe is Professor for AI in Media Production at the University of Television and Film Munich. She studied mathematics in Berlin and worked there as a research assistant. After attending filmmaking courses, she turned her passion for movies into a profession and worked for a Munich-based film production company. In 2017, she returned to research, and her scientific work has been presented at various conferences and published in academic journals.

At +RAIN 2025, she will present Prompted by me – but made by who?, a talk focused on the concept of psychological authorship—the subjective feeling of having created something ourselves.
