Stavroula.Sokoli

Stavroula Sokoli, PhD, is a senior researcher currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Hellenic Open University on generative AI in education and audiovisual creation. She has coordinated numerous research projects and authored over 25 publications on audiovisual translation and language education.

Since 2000, she has worked as a film subtitler and subtitling trainer. She currently serves as Vice President of the European Association for Studies in Screen Translation. At +RAIN 2025, she contributes her expertise in language, technology, and the audiovisual field.
