The last panel discussion from the "Postponed debates: perspectives of a kaleidoscopic present" series of conferences will take place next week. The session is entitled "The irruption of climate migration: we anticipate needs and look for solutions"

Speakers:

Karlos Castilla, doctor in law, responsible of research at the Catalan Human Rights Institute and secretary of SOS Racism Catalunya. 

Miguel Pajares, Biological Sciences graduate and doctor in Social Anthropology. President of the Catalan Refugee Aid Comission. Recently, he has published the book "Refugiados Climàticos, un gran reto del siglo XXI".

Gemma Pinyol, director of Migration Policies and Diversity at Instrategies and associated researcher at GRITIM.     

 

The debate will be moderated by the Philosophy, Politics and Economics students that have organised the conference series.
