Apart from the procedures for stabilization, at UPF there are other types of predoctoral and postdoctoral contracts, as well as the incorporation of professionals to university teaching. They are temporary contracts that end on the foreseen date, with no guarantee of continuity.

Researchers on temporary contracts can respond to tenure-track calls of the academic departments for applications. If chosen, they can start their tenure-track period under their current contract and start the tenure-track lecturer contract once it has expired and for the remaining period.
