Admission requirements
  • Holder of a PhD. If the doctorate was not awarded by a Spanish university or if it is not recognised in Spain, it must be officially recognised before the contract can be signed (https://www.upf.edu/web/doctorats/homologacio-del-titol-estranger-de-doctor).
  • Evidence of at least three years of teaching and research experience. Priority is given to postdoctoral research.
  • Accredit at least two years of pre- or post-doctoral activity (teaching, research or technology or knowledge transfer experience) during which the candidate was not under contract with Pompeu Fabra University. This requirement is considered fulfilled if the doctoral studies were completed entirely at another university, which awarded the doctoral degree. 
  • Research accreditation issued by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency or by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain. This requirement may be met by being qualified as a full university professor or a tenured university professor, in accordance with the Resolution of 18 February 2005 of the Catalan Directorate General for Universities
Contract features

Full professor contract involved in teaching, research and management.

For health insurance issues and retirement contributions, the candidates will be insured under the Social Security scheme.

Incompatibilities
The full-time job does not allow any other activity.
