Yuqian Shan, a Ph.D. student in Communication and a member of the MEDIUM research group, possesses a Master's degree in Digital Culture and Emerging Media from Pompeu Fabra University, Spain (UPF, 2023), and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Philology from Sichuan University, China (SCU, 2022). Her doctoral thesis focuses on analyzing the impact of digital platforms and AI tools on the learning processes of high school students in China. The findings of this study will be used to propose a permission and assessment framework for the use of digital platforms in high schools. The study contributes to the understanding of the role of digital platforms in education and provides guidance for their effective use in Chinese high schools.
