Since 2015 I am Head of Digital of the Prado Museum. As part of my responsibilities there is to design the digital strategy, the technological development and the digital transformation of the Prado Museum. I directed the project "The Prado on the web" that included the launch of the new semantic web as one of its main milestones. This project was honored with two Webby 2016 awards including Best Website of a Cultural Institution. Other projects I leaded are the Digital Prado Archive and Prado's audiovisual Memories (online documentary database projects) and the Prado Bicentenary channel on the website.
From 2008 to 2015 I was Head of Website and Digital Communication of the Prado Museum. From that position, I directed the Museum's websites, as well as the one dedicated to Goya's work. I also coordinated projects such as Prado Masterpieces in Google Earth, apps like Second Canvas Prado, the aggregating of the Prado Museum to the iTunesU platform and communication in social networks among others.
I have lectured on digital transformation in museums, digital strategy, transmedia, etc. in different national and international congresses.
I studied Art History at the University of Granada and a Master in Cultural Management at the José Ortega and Gasset Foundation. I specialized in Public Communication from the National Institute of Public Administration.
