Galeano Haba, Montse

PhD student and member of the MEDIUM Research Group, she holds a BA in Journalism (UAB, 2016) and an MA in Digital Culture and Emerging Media (UPF, 2023). She has worked in a wide range of roles within the music industry, including traditional press and content creation, as well as in the development of digital strategies for both public and private organizations. Her doctoral research examines the evolution of celebrity through the talent show Operación Triunfo (OT), exploring the intersection of pop culture, the music industry, class perspective, and the transformation of the construction of the public self.
