Freixas Fernández, Marta

Marta Freixas Fernández is a PhD candidate in the MEDIUM group at the Department of Communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UPF) and a University Master's Degree in Digital Culture and Emerging Media (UPF). She has experience in the video game sector, especially in narrative design and game design, and production within the handling of digital and transmedia IPs. Her research combines future studies, speculative narrative, and interactive design to explore how immersive and collective game mechanics can foster a critical perspective on the future(s).
