Biography

I am a doctoral student for this university in communication with the firm purpose of defending this year. I have done official studies in the UOC (Audiovisual Communication, Law and the Master in Information Society and Knowledge), UAB (First cycle of Audiovisual Communication) and non-official in ESADE (Resolution of extrajudicial conflicts).

In the professional field I am currently Media Monitoring Services Manager at Acceso Group, the leading company in Spain in Press Clipping and media analysis. My functions are summarized in give customers everything they ask for and the only thing that my team is not able to do is stop the time (we settle for slowing it down a bit). Right now my academic interests are about understanding the interaction between media events through different channels (both Mass Media and UGC) using a broad spectrum of methodologies from Natural Language Processing to semiotic analysis.
