Arnau Gifreu holds a Ph.D. in Communication and a Master's degree in Digital Arts (UPF). He has been an affiliated researcher at the Open Documentary Lab (MIT, 2013-2018) and is currently a member of i-Docs (University of the West of England). He is the author of articles and books on audiovisual non-fiction, interactive, transmedia and immersive narratives, with a focus on interactive documentary.
