ATACI, TUGÇE

Tuğçe is a predoctoral researcher in the Communication Department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies at Bogazici University and a Master’s Degree in International Studies on Media, Power and Difference at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Her PhD research is funded by FI-AGAUR scholarship. She conducts research on digital media use, digital literacy of young people in Rwanda and its implications on peacebuilding processes in the country. She had a research stay at the Institute of Research and Dialogue for Peace (IRDP) in Kigali, Rwanda in 2019 and a research stay in Panthéon-Assas University Paris II in Paris, France in 2020.

She is currently collaborating with ISOOKO project at King’s College London and a member of Work on Demand (WOD) research project at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
