Encarnación Atienza holds a doctorate in Education Sciences, her principal area of research involves the teaching of written discourse and all that this entails: evaluation, the role of writing in the teacher training, the social function of writing, analysis of specific aspects of pragmatics, etc. Presently, her research focuses on the construction of identity in teaching materials, as well as the reflexive discourse of the teaching body.
