Dirk Lagerwaard currently teaches English at the secondary school Regina Carmeli Horta in Barcelona and carries out a PhD in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra under Dr. Olga Esteve’s supervision. Apart from that, he is also involved in the GRAULA project, a group of teacher-researchers under the guidance also from Dr. Olga Esteve.
