The University places special emphasis on offering training and accreditation routes for the PDI who need to accredit level C1 in Catalan, according to Decree 128/2010 of 14 September. For those who need guidance on which path is best suited to their circumstances, the UPF is offering a free counseling session on January 27 via video conference. The options available to be accredited are:

• Send an official C1 or C2 level certificate to the UPF through the online form.
• Ask for assimilation if teaching has been given in Catalan at the UPF through the online form (provisional and expiring).
• Enroll in a free 30-hour C1 level course for the UPF PDI (classes by video conference). This course allows you to review the most controversial aspects of Catalan grammar and acquire the necessary skills to pass the official CIFALC level C1 Catalan language exam.
• Register for free (without prior training) for the official CIFALC Catalan exam at level C1 that will take place at the UPF on February 10 and 11, 2023. Registration open until January 31. Limited places.
