Next Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, 2023, the International Seminar “Women, sports and class: rethinking the visual archive” will take place on the representation of these three axes in the audiovisual media. Experts from different universities and countries will participate and it will take place in the Sala Nau of building 51 of the Poblenou Campus. The seminar has been organized by the research project funded by MICINN-AEI “Football and visual culture under Francoism: discourses of class, gender and national construction in cinema, newsreels and the press 1939-1975” (PID2020-116277GA-I00).
