Why choose this program?

The general aim of this master's degree programme is to provide students with training related to companies that carry out research on medicines and biotechnology products for preventing and treating human diseases

Who is it for?

Applicants must be able to show that they have a recent university qualification in a health sciences discipline. In exceptional cases, holders of a bachelor's degree in a basic science discipline who have demonstrably received appropriate complementary training may be admitted. Additionally, an interest in the different forms of pharmaceutical research is required. Previous medical and pharmaceutical research activity and experience in the sector will also be taken into account.

    Internships are compulsory. They may be remunerated, depending on where they are undertaken, although that is never a factor in their assignment, which is mainly at the discretion of the lecturers responsible. Internships are undertaken in the second and third terms and involve full-time work (mornings and afternoons).

    Full‑time: the master’s degree is completed in one academic year, with internships taking place during the 2nd and 3rd terms of that year (30 ECTS of internships).

    Part‑time (recommended): the master’s degree spans two academic years, with internships in the 2nd and 3rd terms of the first year (20 ECTS of internships) and in the 1st term of the following year (10 ECTS of internships).
