The UPF has just published its 2.000 dissertation in TDX (Theses and Dissertations Online). It has the title Essays on monetary economics and financial stability, written by Derrick Kanngiesser and directed by Jordi Galí and Luca Fornaro, from the UPF Department of Economics and Business.

TDX (Theses and Dissertations Online) is a digital cooperative repository holding nearly 32.000 theses presented at Catalan universities.

Up to 95% of the UPF theses since 2013 (when a new Spanish legal framework was implemented) are in open access. Sometimes temporary embargos are applied, so open access to research and author’s needs on copyright are balanced. 

TDX increases research dissemination and dissertation impact, making the theses searchable in engines as Google, and in theses’ databases either European (DART) or international (OATD).

TDX UPF theses are also included in the UPF Digital Repository,  the UPF PPC Scientific Output portal and the Portal de la Recerca de Catalunya. TDX also offers use and downloading statistics.
