2020 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is now available with data from 2019, the best known and one of the best valued journals quality indicator by the research evaluation bodies.

It measures the impact of a scholarly journal based on the citations received by the articles published and collected in the Web of Science (WOS). JCR has been providing data from journals and indicators for more than 40 years.

This edition includes:

• 12.171 journals - 351 journal titles new in relation to the previous edition - distributed in 236 research categories (scientific disciplines).
• New descriptive data on open access models. From the total number of journals, 1.658 are open access (gold open access) and 7.487 hybrid journals.
• Updated journal self-citation parameters (in relation to the last edition 33 journals have been suppressed for this reason).
