The application of big data and computational techniques is one of the most relevant trends in the field of study of Social Sciences. That is why this project, like many others in the current scenario, complements the use of well-established research methods, such as surveys or experiments, with a big data approach. This offers the possibility of analyzing a larger amount of information, reaching longer periods of time, to analyze the information and content of the media and Twitter accounts to which respondents has been exposed (information collected by the passive tracker) during the social media experiment embedded in wave 1 and  the main outlets they have been reading during the last year before the survey took place.
