1. 1st HPAC Platform Training Event
The objective of the 1st HPAC Platform Training Event is to introduce the HPAC Platform as well as to provide assistance to the potential users in understanding the application process for supercomputing resources access.
Date: 11-12 December 2018
Location: Building C6, Room E106
Registration: https://www.bsc.es/1st-hpac-
2. 30th VI-HPS Tuning Workshop
The 30th edition of this workshop will take place at BSC. The objective of this course is to introduce the HPAC Platform as well as to assist the potential users in understanding the application process for supercomputing resources access.
Date: 21-25 January 2019
Location: Building C6, Room E-106
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
3. Programming Distributed Computing Platforms with COMPSs
In the course, the COMPSs syntax, programming methodology and an overview of the runtime internals will be given. The attendees will get a first lesson about programming with COMPSs that will enable them to start programming with this framework.
Date: 29-30 January 2019
Location: Vertex Bulding, Room VS208
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
4. Big Data Analytics
The course brings together key information technologies used in manipulating, storing, and analyzing data.
Date: 5-8 February 2019
Location: Vertex Building VS208
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
5. Short course on HPC-based Computational Bio-Medicine
This course gives an overview on the use of HPC-based computational mechanics in Engineering and Environment through the projects BSC are carrying on.
Date: 13-15 of February 2019
Location: Vertex Building VS208
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
6. Introduction to Heterogeneous Memory Usage
The aim of this course is to learn how to use systems with more than one memory subsystem. We will see the different options on using Intel’s KNL memory subsystems and systems equipped with Intel’s Optane technology.
Date: 26 February 2019
Location: Vertex Building VS208
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
7. Programming MareNostrum 4
The objective of this course is to present to potential users the new configuration of MareNostrum and a introduction on how to use the new system (batch system, compilers, hardware, MPI, etc). Also It will provide an introduction about RES and PRACE infrastructures and how to get access to the supercomputing resources available.
Date: 27-28 February 2019
Location: Vertex Building VS208
Registration: https://events.prace-ri.eu/
