On 5 March, a group of students of the MA in International Studies in Media, Power and Difference visited the Llobregat Delta, a wetland near Barcelona that is protected from the massive urbanisation of the surrounding area. A guide from the Delta Consortium explained the difficulties and peculiarities of environmental protection in the presence of an airport, a large city and a huge industrial centre.
