On February 13 th , 2024, Lluis Freixes, a 2019 graduate of our programme and a journalist at the Catalan Public Broadcasting Corporation, has given a lecture on journalism and animal advocacy in the Critical Animal and Media Studies course.
Freixes also introduced us to his new book, Sedició a la Granja (Ara Llibres), a dissection of the treatment of animals at home and in the world, its consequences and what we can do to change it.
