Mandatory documentation
- An official university degree certificate (bachelor's or master's) from the European Higher Education Area (EEES) or an equivalent foreign degree that grants access to postgraduate studies in the country where the degree was awarded.
- If the degree or academic transcript is not in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, or Portuguese, a sworn translation into Catalan or Spanish must be attached.
- In the case that the applicant has not yet completed their studies at the time of application, they will be required to sign a declaration stating that they will have completed their studies before the start of the master's programme.
- Official academic transcript with the average grade from the home university.
- Curriculum vitae written in English.
- Languages: Accreditation of a B2 level of English.
- If you are unable to provide proof of your language level with an official certificate, you can take the non-accreditative level test offered by Idiomes UPF. UPF will receive the result directly.
- If you wish to request an exemption from providing proof of language proficiency due to being a native speaker or having completed studies in the relevant language, you must submit a brief explanatory letter outlining your reasons.
- Motivation letter in English, explaining your interest in pursuing the master's degree, with a maximum length of 2 pages.
- Form master's degree itinerary selection.
- Two letters of recommendation (free format and on the original letterhead of the issuing institution).
- For better management and security of the required recommendation letters, the student must request them via the online application, where they must provide the email address of the person(s) they wish to recommend them. This person will receive an email stating that the student has requested their recommendation. Institutional email addresses are required; addresses such as *yahoo, *gmail, *hotmail, etc., will not be accepted.
- National identity document or passport: photocopy.
Optional documentation
Although not mandatory, the department organising the master's programme may consider the following as merits for admission purposes (a photocopy of the relevant certificates/documents must be attached):
- Additional academic training in areas related to the master's programme.
- Other relevant documents.
Additionally, the selection committee may arrange an interview with the candidate within this section.
