UPF has developed a proactive policy of cooperation and collaboration with emerging and industrialized countries. This has been acknowledged by the Erasmus+ programme which awards funds to foster international mobility within partner countries.

Within this framework UPF opens calls for applications for incoming mobility to promote training, research, and study development opportunities to students, young researchers and lecturers of partner universities.

  • Financing: daily (170€/day) or monthy allowance (850€/month), depending on recipients + one-return flight ticket to Barcelona (amount stipulated according the distance from the country of origin)
  • Recipients: teaching staff, postgraduate students of partner countries institutions.
  • Mobilities shall take place before July 31st 2027.
  • In case there are remaining grants, the call will be open on a rolling basis until the scholarships are awarded.

Practical Information

Applicants must be enrolled or maintain a contractual or civil servant relationship during the period of application for participation as well as during the stay, and compliance with this requirement will be verified.

The specific requirements for applying for teaching and postgraduate student mobility are described in the body of the call.

  2. Once you have the acceptation of the host professor/supervisor, please complete the online application form in your category  of mobility attaching the requested documents, being aware that the selection committee will evaluate the applications based on these documents.

Bachelor & Master students

  • Nomination letter signed by the sending university, indicating accumulative average grade of the applicants, and confirming applicant´s level of language (minimum B2 English/Spanish)
  • Transcript of records
  • Learning agreement (LA) signed by the candidate and sending university: Applicants should complete ONLY the first 3 pages of the Learning Agreement. Scanned signatures are accepted.
  • Recommendation letter by MA coordinator, only for Master Students.
  • Proof of disadvantaged background, if applicable,

  • Acceptance Letter by hosting university
  • Learning agreement (LA) signed by the candidate and sending university. Applicants should complete ONLY the first 3 pages of the Learning Agreement. Scanned signatures are accepted.

  • Proof of disadvantaged background, if applicable.
  • Fields of Study
Students have the Erasmus + Student Charter document (rights and responsibilities as an exchange student)

Staff

  • Abridged CV
  • Mobility Agreement proposal (teaching/training) duly signed by the applicant, the home and the host universities, including a clear expression of motivation and interest, and the intended dates for mobility. Scanned signatures are accepted. 
  • Teaching agreement, Training agreement, or Teaching and Training agreeement
  • Invitation letter/message signed by the hosting staff at UPF
  • Endorsement letter signed by the academic/administrative head at the sending university
Applicants are strongly advised to submit their applications well before the deadline so that their applications can be checked and errors corrected if any.
