Science and Human Rights, including data, transparency and privacy with Carlos Castillo
The Barcelona City Council is organising a new series of talks around the relation of science, technology and human rights. The objective is to promote the generation of specific recommendations for local action in each of the topics, in addition to increasing a broader and well-informed awareness in the general population about the potential impacts that scientific and technological advances can have in society in general, and basic human rights in particular.
Carlos Castillo will take part in the event on June 19th devoted to risks and opportunities coming from the use of data and algorithms.
