Víctor M. Verdejo is a philosopher, Ramón y Cajal fellow, at the Department of Humanities (Pompeu Fabra University).

He received his PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (CCiL, 2008) and has carried out teaching and research at several universities ever since. Between 2014-2016, he conducted a two-year project at University College London (UK). He is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles on the nature of thought and related areas of philosophy of language and cognitive science. His current main line of research elucidates communication and intersubjectivity, with an emphasis on its interplay with the first person and first-personal experience. 

 

He is co-editor (together with José Luis Bermúdez and Matheus Valente) of the volume Sharing Thoughts (Oxford University Press, 2025) and currently PI of three research projects which approach communication and thought from different perspectives, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Ramón Areces, and BBVA foundations, respectively.
