The Centre for Digital Humanities and the HackLab initiate new dynamics for the promotion of interdisciplinary projects among students within the framework of the Digital Humanities

The Centre aims to create an inclusive space where various departments can develop research beyond the limits of each discipline, with a transversal and innovative look at both research and teaching.

One of the pillars of the Centre is the promotion of teaching and training in Digital Humanities at all levels, from undergraduate students to doctoral students or researchers. The acquisition of digital skills throughout formal studies at the UPF, as well as this transdisciplinary perspective aimed at solving current social and academic challenges, is key.

The HackLab is a space where this type of dynamic between students is encouraged, and the mutual support between UPF-DH and the HackLab will allow these resources to reach more students interested in the Digital Humanities, who will be able to benefit from the experience of collaboration with students from other disciplines beyond the academic curriculum.
