DIGITHS in the Library
Information Desk
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering critical engagement with digital research practices, the Centre for Digital Methodologies is launching a pilot collaboration with the UPF Library. This initiative explores new ways of integrating library services with digital humanities work, encouraging reflection on the evolving role of data, tools, and infrastructures in scholarly research. By situating part of our activity within the Library, we aim to create a shared space for dialogue, exploration, and discovery—where researchers can navigate both established services and emerging digital methodologies.
The Information Desk is not a help desk, but rather a space for conversation, orientation, and discovery, especially for those curious about how digital tools and approaches can intersect with research in the humanities and social sciences. While we won’t be offering immediate or on-demand consultations, members of the Centre will be available to discuss ongoing projects and possible directions for support or collaboration.
This is a pilot test, and we welcome feedback on how the space and format could evolve.

Recommended Library Services Related to Digital Methodologies
The UPF Library already offers a wide range of services that support digital and data-intensive research. We encourage you to explore the following services, which form a valuable foundation for digital work. In some cases, the Centre may complement them with additional resources, for example, by sharing expanded lists of repositories, discussing tailored approaches to data management plans, or connecting researchers with more specialised tools and communities.
