Attacks and Defense TechniquesDeveloping an advanced platform to test real threats to BCT
The BAnDIT project (advanced Blockchain Attacks and Defense Techniques), is an Innovation Training Network funded under the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska - Curie Programme that aims at developing an advanced platform to test real persistent threats to BCT and assess the weaknesses of blockchain applications/systems as well as fostering partnership between Industry and Academia in a powerful emerging technology of great impact in our society.
The project is structured around 4 Individual Research Projects (IRPs), one for each Early Stage Researcher (ESR) within 4 main research topics:
- Formal analysis of the blockchain technology
- Advanced attacks and defense techniques for blockchain-based applications
- Auditing systems for blockchain-based applications
- Economic and legal foundations
The consortium is led by Pompeu Fabra University, and it also takes part in it, Nokia Bell-Labs France (beneficiary), Rovira i Virgili University (partner) and Caelum Labs (partner). Each ESR will spend half of his/her time (approx) at the academia and the industrial side (both at UPF at Nokia).
