LLRN Inaugural Conference - Logistics
Accommodations
Participants are expected to pay for their own travel and accommodation; however, there will be no conference fees.
Here you can find information about recommended hotels and special rates for conference participants.
Recommended hotels:
- Hotel H.10 Marina (10 min. walking to UPF)
- Hotel Ciutadella or Hotel Colonial or Hotel Medinacelli (15/20 min. walking or 5 min. Bus #14 to UPF)
Special rates and conditions in the recommended hotels:
Rates:
- Double room for single occupancy: 110,00 €/night
- Double room for two persons / Twin: 130,00 €/night
Conditions:
- Taxes and breakfast are included
- Local touristic tax is not included: direct payment at arrival (1,21 € / adult and day)
- These special rates are for reservations made until March 30, 2013; after this date, prices may be higher (please note that June is touristic high season)

Financial assistance
We hope to be able to provide financial assistance to participants from developing countries who cannot otherwise attend the conference. While we are still not in a position to guarantee such funding, participants from developing countries are encouraged to submit abstracts or session proposals, and note their need of financial support.
