SIGN-HUB presented some results at SLAAC 2018
Some sign-hubbers attended the Sign Language Acquisition and Assessment Conference, held in Haifa on November 19-21, 2018, and presented the following talks and posters:
- "Syntactic impairments in Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing and their relations to critical age in language acquisition" (talk by Naama Friedmann)
- "Letter position dyslexia in fingerspelling" (talk by Doron Levy & Naama Friedmann)
- "Assessing role-shift in LSF: A pilot" (poster by Valentina Aristodemo & Caterina Donati)
- "Minimal pairs and phonologically related signs as phonological distractors in a comprehension task" (poster by Giorgia Zorzi, Jordina Sánchez Amat & Beatrice Giustolisi)
It was a great opportunity to discuss with all attendees the SIGN-HUB output and the work carried out in the field of sign language assessment.
