Inclusion

The goal of Pompeu Fabra University’s Inclusion Plan is to prevent any kind of
discrimination against people with special needs. It places an effective
instrument within the reach of the entire university community, guiding the
University’s actions. The plan’s underlying principles are:

  • the acceptance of diversity and plurality
  • social responsibility
  •  mainstreaming and a commitment to participation

To adhere to these principles, the plan lays out four general aims:

  • a commitment to the right to equal opportunities and the autonomy of people with disabilities;
  • the elimination of any kind of class barrier;
  • the access to information, training and support for the university

community to ensure the previous two aims are possible;

  • carrying out the adaptations necessary for people with disabilities to

achieve their academic, professional and work-related goals.
All actions and activities in this area are published on the UPF Inclusion
webpage.
