Ángel Faraldo is an experimental music maker active in the fields of free improvisation, composition, sound installation and sound design for theatre and film; where he develops performative, critical and ecological perspectives of electronic sound. He also carries out an intense activity as a teacher, music technology consultant, and technical producer of live music, collaborating with various centers, ensembles and composers. Between 2018 and 2022, he has been artistic director of the Phonos Foundation in Barcelona. He has been trained at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and at the Institute of Sonology (The Hague), obtaining his PhD from the Music Technology Group at Pompeu Fabra University.
