Miriam Sánchez Manzano (Barcelona, 1996) is a pre-doctoral researcher in training at the Aesthetic Research of Audiovisual Media Group (CINEMA) of the Pompeu Fabra University. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Rovira i Virgili University and completed the Master's Degree in Contemporary Cinema and Audiovisual Studies at Pompeu Fabra University. Currently, she is completing her doctoral thesis focused on the study of menstrual aesthetics and fluid body politics in cinema, supported by a FI SDUR predoctoral grant (2022/00178). She has also taught film history classes, being an associate professor of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Rovira i Virgili University.
