In addition, researchers are obliged to publish their results, for which they have various platforms and formats. The most common is the scientific article, which has a reduced length and formal characteristics that are those of the journal where it is submitted for evaluation, generally double-blind peer review: the manuscript, without reference to its authors, is submitted to two independent evaluators, who do not know each other, to give their opinion according to a model that measures the quality of the different aspects of the research: good approach to the proposal and relevance of the research, objectives, use of methodology, theoretical support, formulation of objectives and hypotheses, correct use of graphs and tables, correct writing, correct manuscript structure, updated and relevant bibliography. The reviewers may reject or accept the proposal outright or, more commonly, suggest more or less important modifications to be submitted for further review. Sometimes, prior to writing the article, the proposal is sent in the form of a communication to a specialized congress, where it is accepted or rejected, according to the same quality parameters, and where the contributions are discussed publicly and orally.

A more visual version, which shows the parts of the research on a single page, is the poster. Based on the reflections obtained in these scientific events, the authors of the proposal can improve it and turn it into an article.
