Carlos Lopezosa

Is an associate professor at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, teaches at the Faculty of Communication, in the Degrees of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication. Coordinator and professor of the Online Master in Search Engines and SEO/SEM at the Barcelona School of Management (UPF). He has a Ph.D. in Information Sciences and is a specialist in SEO and monetization systems based on quality content strategies. 

He is currently part of the DigiDoc Research Group at the Pompeu Fabra University.

Pere Freixa

Holds a Postgraduate Degree in Interactive and Multimedia Systems (UPC) and a PhD in Arts (UB).
He’s professor of the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), specialized in photography, digital image, interactive design, and interactive communication.

As researcher, he’s a member of DigiDoc Research Group, Department of Communication, UPF. Currently he is PI of competitive research projects and director of Hipertext.net academic journal.

Lluís Codina

An associate professor at the Faculty of Communication, Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and coordinator of the Journalism and Digital Documentation Research Unit in the same university, as well as co-director of the so-called Observatorio de Cibermedios, devoted to monitoring trends and curating content on digital journalism.

He is also professor at the Barcelona School of Management - UPF.

Laura Pérez Altable (Madrid, Spain, 1987).

Lecturer in Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) since 2020. Previously she was Associate Lecturer at Nebrija University (Madrid). She earned her PhD in Social Communication (2016) from Pompeu Fabra University. She has been visiting scholar at the University of Manchester (2015) in the United Kingdom.

She has taught several courses related to the Journalism field.

Javier Díaz-Noci (Vitoria, Spain, 1964).

Professor of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) since 2008, and from 1994 to 2008 he was a senior lecturer at the University of the Basque Country. He holds two PhD degrees in both History (1992) and Law (2016). He has been a visiting scholar at the universities of Oxford (1998-1999) and East Anglia (2021) in the United Kingdom, and twice at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil (2005 and 2008).

He has taught several courses related to research methods in social sciences and communication. 

Rafael Pedraza-Jimenez 

Is associate professor and Serra Húnter fellow in the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University. His work focuses on studying the application of some core concepts and methods of Information Science, mainly from areas of knowledge such as Information Search and Retrieval, Information Literacy or Information Quality, to Communication Studies.
