These are documents that present partial results of research (e.g., from a panel of experts). Sometimes they take the form of reports of a given activity, typically of some consensus technique (Delphi, expert panel).
They are usually published on the project's own website. Other types of deliverables are methodological: they explain the analysis techniques that the research group plans to carry out, may include pre-tests, and are a scientific contribution in themselves because they can help other researchers to improve their own research methods, and contribute to a basic principle of science: transparency.
