Our students have an appointed tutor. Tutors offer students personal and academic support and have an individual face-to-face meeting with students at the beginning of the program (e.g., in the Pre-registration session) and at least once during the first semester.

The main roles of the academic tutors are the following:
  • to provide general academic guidance to students throughout the year, and monitor attendance and progress;
  • to help solve students' issues and facilitate contacts with higher authorities when deemed necessary, as well as mediate between students and their teachers;
  • to help in the selection of the MA courses during the tutoring session previous to registration (early September);
  • to provide support in the administrative and academic aspects of the Master's Thesis completion procedure, with a strong focus on the topic and supervisor selection phases;
  • to sign the Master's Thesis form.

In addition, students in the practical track will have another tutor who will provide support in the administrative and pedagogical aspects of the Practicum.
